New In: Lauder's Latest

Estée Lauder's latest - sounds exciting doesn't it? They have released such a variety of products it's difficult to know where to start but  luckily their whole host of new releases will tick something in everyone's box. From new shades in their Pure Colour Nail Lacquer to a very interesting sounding matte lip pencil, here's what's in store...  

Estée Lauder Pure Colour Stay-on Shadow Pot in 01 Chained, £19

Starting with the eyes - their Pure Colour Stay-on Shadow Paint have recently hit counters and, as far as cream eyeshadows go they are top of the bunch incredibly creamy, dry to a powdery finish and last a decent amount of time on the lids. Slightly more of a whipped texture than the likes of Mac Paint Pot and Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Shadows, with much less of a drying formula. I've been dipping my Mac 217 into the mix and sweeping it across the lids - so simple something that can be done blindfolded!

Estée Lauder Pure Colour Sheer Matte Lipstick in Rebel, £19.50

Their Nail Lacquer in Beautiful Liar coated my nails many-a-time but their latest shade Narcissist from the Heavy Petals collection is yet another beautiful pastel pink number. For matte bright pink perfection their Limited Edition Pure Colour Sheer Matte Lipstick in Rebel would be the way to go. Something that is so creamy it applies like a dream, has incredible coverage (only one coat needed!) only downfall is it's slightly drying on the lips but hey! Which matte lipstick isn't? 

Pure Colour Illuminating Powder Gelée Blush in Tease, £30

The standout of Lauder's Latest was the Pure Colour Illuminating Powder Gelée Blush in Tease, a texture similar to my fabulous Bronze Sands Eyeshadow palette but for the cheeks. A powder/cream texture that blends over the cheeks beautifully, instantly adding a rosey shimmery sheen to the cheeks. Something that looks more pleasing in artificial light than daylight however.

Estée Lauder is always a brand that intrigues me but I'm not often drawn to - however I'm always always impressed whenever I've given their products a whirl and this case was no exception! Will you be giving any of the new Lauder releases a go?
