My Makeup: All About The Cheekbones

Makeup preferences are constantly on rotation, after veering against bright lips they are now something I sport regularly, coloured mascara has been on the cards and coloured eyeliner is now round the corner. One preference that will always remain constant is my love of a brilliantly sculpted cheekbone.

Illamasqua Blush Up Brush £28.50 & Powder Blusher Duo in Lover & Hussy £26
Illamasqua's latest Blush Up Brush is perfectly designed to make contouring cheekbones easy, the densely packed brush picks up plenty of product to tuck into the hollows of cheekbones so a little pressure is all that's needed for easy application sculpting. I've been pairing it with their Blusher Duo in Lover & Hussy, which is a little too bright and matte for my liking but provides the skin with a healthy glow, so much so I've been skipping out on bronzer all together. A little push of Hussy into the cheekbones topped up with Lover did just the trick.

Blush Up Brush has been a total winner for me especially when paired with a contour powder, something my endless brush supply was completely missing! Hello beautifully sculpted cheekbones...
