'Cult Classic' are the two words that come to mind when thinking of Bobbi's Pot Rouge. I remember them from the old packaging screw on lid days, watching my friend Ali slap some on her cheeks with her fingers at a traffic light - lips and cheeks, blend and done. Brief, simple and instantly perked up her face. Perfect for those no makeup days and that's all she would use.
Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pretty Powerful Pink, £18, here |
As of yesterday Bobbi Brown's infamous pot rouge are now available in a new limited edition shade, Pretty Powerful Pink, with all sales (£18 each) going to support an organisation called Dress For Success, a charity that helps provide women with education, job skills and work experience.
Despite being a little shy towards cream formulas these were easy to apply, blend and lasted without separating on my combination skin. Applied with a Real Techniques brush and blended into the skin left a powdery yet still dewy, natural finish.
Along with this comes some exciting other additions, another of Bobbi's successful books, this time named Pretty Powerful packed to the brim with before and after pictures, tips and beauty stories. There's also Facebook competitions with a chance of winning a trip to New York!
