Little Box Of Luxury

This Muji drawer holds all my favourite high-end buys of the moment, displaying them on my dresser with their beautiful packaging in sight. Each one combines together to form a part of my routine from base to lips. Call this box my high-end picks that are worth those pennies...

Kevin Aucoin Sensual Skin Tinted Balm, £36, Space NK
As soon as rays of sunshine peeked through I had to get this light, summery texture out. The word 'balm' describes it perfectly, minimal coverage, yet a flawless finish that's slighty dewy, all wrapped up in the most friendly of packagings. The best part is how weightless it is on the skin, come 6pm and I don't feel the need to be reaching for my flannel.

Clinique Even Better Eyes, £28, Boots
De-puffing Clinique Even Better Eyes is the perfect item for early morning application. The cool metal tip disperses a light reflecting, hydrating eye cream that adds a hint of coverage and helps concealer apply evenly over the top whilst de-puffing.

Clé De Peau Concealer, £48, Nordstrom
Named the best concealer around by makeup artists and celebrities and I don't blame them. This thick cream melts into the skin, providing a flawless veil of coverage that's hardly detectable but full coverage in one swipe.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder, £18.50, Space NK
After spotting this on multiple counters backstage this was instantly named one of the 'Makeup Artists Secrets'. Setting the concealer under the eyes to avoid creasing whilst adding a boost of light reflection.

Creme De La Mer The Radiant Concealer, £45, House Of Fraser
If there's any redness or blemishes to be seen Creme De La Mer is what covers them. Hydrating, full coverage and long-lasting, this is the perfect tool for concealing. Plus it's oil-free too - perfect for us oilier ladies and won't interfere with the pesky blemish.

Guerlain Terracotta Moisturising Bronzing Powder, £34, House Of Fraser
I've waxed lyrical about my love for Guerlain Bronzer's as of late so this won't come as a surprise to you. A golden, natural glow powder that instantly brightens the face as adds a subtle, yet effective bronzed look.

Chanel Poudre Singée De Chanel Illuminating Powder, £46, Boots
It-highlighter of the moment Chanel Poudre Signée, who's usage is starting to show on the beautiful embossing, is easily my favourite powder highlighter ever. Its subtle, golden and finely milled shimmer provides the most natural highlight around, brightening my cheeks and enhancing cheekbones.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface, $29, Sephora
The perfect matte, perk-me-up pink that brightens a dull complexion wonderfully is Tarte Dollface. Plus the lasting power of these blushes is incredible!

Burberry Complete Eyeshadow Palette in Mocha, £40, Harvey Nichols (post here)
Four shades in one handy palette combined together for a simple, yet delicate brown smokey eye. Each creamily soft and wonderfully pigmented. My favourite out of the bunch is the deepest brown, gorgeous for running across the lower lash line.

DJV Beautinizer Volume Lash Mascara, £18, Cult Beauty
Not the most well-known mascara but one that's unbelievable for creating volume. Seeing as I don't curl my lashes on a regular basis this is right up my street as it adds a ton of volume with minimal effort as it applies the majority of the product at the root of the lash.

Tom Ford Lip Colour in Spanish Pink, £36, Selfridges
Nothing says luxury like Tom Ford Lipsticks and my favourite nude is the shade Spanish Pink, more of a peachy undertone to it and feels so hydrating and soft on the lips. I'll tend to pat it on than applying a full coverage nude lip for a softer finish.
