Lipstick lover? Me? I have no idea what
you’re talking about… After swearing my allegiance to lipgloss – particularly
Chantcaille Brilliant Gloss in Lucky, there’s something else that’s been piling up
in my stash. Nothing beats the feeling when applying an ultra bright lip or a really smooth hydrating lipstick. Top 5 of the
moment? Here we go…
Wearing Pixi Lip & Line, £12 |
Of course the first has to be a peachy pink lip. What else? Pixi Lip & Line in Fresh Pink conveniently is double sided with a lip liner and a creamy stick to make sure there's a perfect finish. Matte, long-lasting and hydrating...there's nothing else to ask for really! I'm obsessed!
Wearing Sisley Hydrating Long Lasting Lipstick in L34 Rose Petunia, £32 |
Sisley Hydrating Long Lasting Lipstick wins the award for more innovative lipstick bullet ever. There's no need for a lip liner with this one as the pointed tip ensures getting in those nooks with ease. Moisturising, slightly glossy with a sheeny finish. Beautiful! (and there's no need for a mirror to apply) I've been smitten with the shade L34 Rose Petunia.
Wearing Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in 07, £5.99 |
The budget buy of the bunch would be Bourjois recently launched Rouge Edition. They’ve got the bright lips down to a tee with this range. 18 shades, all beautifully pigmented with a long-lasting, hydrating formula. Check, check and check! The formula is actually rather unique as it gives a slightly glossy, lustrous finish, which adds a hint of fullness to the lips. My favourite out of the bunch has got to be the shade 07 - bold, bright and pink!
Wearing Tom Ford Black Orchid, £36 |
Tom Ford Black Orchid. Need I say more? The most well known lipstick around and for good reason! Three things...Incredibly pigmented, creamy and swoon-worthy packaging.
Wearing Guerlain Rouge Automatique in 600, £24.50 |
Part of Guerlain's spring collection comes their Rouge Automatique in 600, which is one I feel the need to whip out with a full audience for it's beautiful, sleek packaging. This semi-transparent, high shine, natural veil of shimmery colour has to be the easiest wear out of the bunch. Something about Guerlain always makes me loosen my purse strings a little...
