Jet Set Skin

My recent travelling expeditions have taken their toll on my skin. Hours in the air result in flakey patches and inflammation. Needless to say it ain't pretty but here's what's been sorting them out...

French pharmacy buy Homeoplasmine, works it magic on anything dry, cuticles, lips and most importantly any dry face patches. I'll pop it on for as long as possible and to find that patches are much easier to cover and end up with a smoother surface. Ot's actually one of the most seen products backstage at Fashion Week (post here!)

As opposed to Emma Hardie Morninga Cleansing Balm I've been using Organic Pharmacy's Carrot Butter Cleanser, as it's lighter and easier to pack. Hydrating, nourrishing and removes makeup with ease - a definite thumbs up from me!

For super soft limbs and arms,  I haven't been able to part with Orico Rush Hour Dry Body Oil. Luxurious, easily absorbed and intensely hydrating. Plus the thin, weightless plastic tube makes it a breeze to travel with.

Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturiser has been my favourite as of late. The gel-like texture is slightly thicker than I'm used to but doing a lot more for my skin than Ren, which didn't seem to be nourishing enough. As opposed to others I've tried, it's easily absorbed and doesn't interfere with makeup application. Success!

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Rose Tinted which I received in Birchbox, hydrates while adding a little tint and a glossy finish to the lips - perfect for on-the-go use.

What skincare do you bring along when you travel?

  1. One of the worst things about travelling is definitely the effect it has on your skin! My skin always takes ages to get back to a good condition after flying as well :S

I would LOVE it if you guys would come over and check my blog out! :D
