Budget Buy: Maybelline Rocket Volum' Mascara

Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara, Boots £5.99
After the hustle and bustle of day 2 LFW there was one item that stood out to me, Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara. After seeing Makeup Artist Sharon Dowsett apply it continuously on the models, coat after coat until she concluded that she had layered a good seven or eight coats on there and hearing her sing it's praises consecutively to press for hours, there was one thing I had to do that evening, and I think it's pretty obvious what that was...  

Let's call this a first time love for two reasons, 1 - it lengthens and 2 - it volumizes. As a mascara it ticks every box as it's buildable too. Very impressed with the lift separation and volume but I imaging it will get even better as the formula dries up slightly. I suspect I'll be reaching for this on minimal makeup days for dramatic lashes or in combination with a colourful lip (like last weeks Maybelline Budget Buy here!).

    I am literally obsessed with layering mascara, so I think I need to scurry down to Boots on my lunch tomorrow and pick this up, for sure! I can't believe how cheap it is, either. It looks amazing!

    I'm loving this mascara at the moment, Maybelline always do really good mascaras. This kind of reminds me of their 'Falsies' mascara xx

    Oooo I'll have to try this. I normally stick to Rimmel, I love their 'Scandal eyes' mascara as I'm obsessed with chunky brushes.
