My Top 5...Rose Water Toners!

I'm totally addicted to anything that includes rose water, not only does it smell amazing it's also super good for your skin & has tons of benefits (listed below). Rose Water toner is probably my most collected and used toner for this reason! Here are four of my favourites - from left to right - Neal's Yard Rehydrating Rose Water Toner, Jurlique Rose Water Balancing Mist, Amanda Lacey Persian Rose Water, Botanics Organic Face Rose Water Toner.

Neal's Yard Rehydrating Rose Water Toner - £15 - The safest out of the lot as it's specifically for sensitive skin, feels very soothing especially on breakouts and blemishes. Full post here

Jurlique Rose Water Balancing Mist - £21.50 - Most useful! Being a spray bottle there's no need to faff about with cotton wool, just a couple of spritz's and all good! Also includes aloe so double soothing goodness     :). I've been using it after makeup too as an instant refresher and to achieve a less powdered look.

Amanda Lacey Persian Rose Water - £62 - A 250ml bottle (more than double Jurlique which is 100ml) It did feel the most refreshing and have the strongest rose scent, which I love. In the morning after a late night this would be my preferred one for soaking a cotton pad and placing on the eyes for about 5 minutes while I lay in bed, to decrease puffiness and redness

Boots Botanics Organic Face Rosewater Toner - £4.07 - A great budget option but the least nicest smelling! Specifically for dry skin but when tested on my dry patches I didn't notice any difference. The best for taking off the last layer of makeup.

If I had to pick my favourite it would be Jurlique mainly because of the useful spray but also because it was the only one I could not fault!

Rose based toner benefits...

Anti-inflammatory - great for people who suffer from breakouts or acne
Soothing & gentle - great for people with skin irritations or sensitive skin
Tightens pores
Antioxidan- for people living in busy cities like London!
Moisturisng, firming & anti-wrinkle

Would you ever try Rose Water Toner?

  1. I'll definitely consider the Neal's Yard one when my Nivea Pure & Naturals is done. I'm always worried about trying new toners as my skin can be quite sensitive in that respect but the benefits of rose water make it worth a try. :) x

  2. I love rose water too I use rose water in my clay mask and I spray it at my face to keep it refresh. Sadly I have never tried any of these toners because we don't get them in my country.

  6. Rose water is probably one of my favorite toners too. The best one that I have used yet is a spa brand from India. Sadly I cant get it outside of India and I already ran out of it. Niel's Yard is the one that I been thinking of trying next :)
