My Makeup: Budget Face

Contrast to my Little Box Of Luxury, I'm currently looking at what can only be described as an (almost) fully high-street face. Impressive or what? Not going to lie, I did give myself a pat on the back.  Out of all the drugstore makeup that comes and goes in my grasps here's what's been hanging around, most of which are new releases.

Revlon's Nearly Naked has been very happily gracing my skin since January, a light- medium coverage, dewy and fresh base that's perfection. A little lacking in longevity, but we let that slide. Along with this goes Origins Plantscription Concealer, containing the perfect amount of peachy tones to correct and conceal any late nights. Une Healthy Glow Mineral Powder gets dusted about for some warmth and cheeks are layered in L'Oreal's latest offering, BB Blush. I originally saw BB Blush being applied by Val Garland to the models backstage at Issa when it was in it's white tester packaging and fell in love. Light, blendable and baby pink - perfect for a natural flush.

Onto the quick and easy smokey eyes with the help of Rimmel Scandaleyes. Bulletproof Beige 002 all over the lid with Bad Girl Bronze 003 applied along the lash line and smudged upwards.  Another Rimmel release I picked up (hello lunch breaks at Boots) was the Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara,  giving me long, thick, voluminous and dramatic lashes - just how I like them.

Lastly lips have been coated in Revlon's ColourStay Suede (out April in the UK) in the shade High Heels 030, a light hydrating and pigmented baby pink. The formula of these are described perfectly by the name - silky, smooth and a dream to apply.

Never think you'd see the day where the majority of my face is coated in drugstore offerings. Thanks to you enabling ladies on twitter I manage to find the best purchases around!
