Loves Of The Month: February


Time for a monthly round up, February has certainly been the month full of Budget Buys which is a much more purse friendly option than my usual suspects. 



Wild About Beauty Nail Varnish, 05 Elio, £9 Debenhams
You know something's a good'un when you receive countless compliments on it. The item in question is the Wild About Beauty Shade, Elio. Not only is the colour a beautiful plum red, the formula is lovely, layers well (unlike Bobbi Brown's latest) and lasted the majority of seven days. Now to pick up some more shades...


Perricone MD Nutritive Cleanser, £35 & Face Finishing Moisturiser, £54 Selfridges
Latest skincare brand love Perricone MD has risen well above and beyond my expectations. By far one of my favourite cleansers thats bumped Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm off the top spot. As for the moisturiser, a lightweight, easily absorbed, gel texture that doesn't leave an oily film and hydrates without including any nasty ingredients. Double thumbs up!


Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface, £29 Sephora post here
A perfect baby pink shade that instantly perks up cheeks - I'm loving it's long lasting formula too. 


Maybelline 24 Hour Super Stay Bold Matte, £6.99 Boots post here
I've really been at it with my budget finds recently - this matte bold lip is just perfect for adding a touch of something to an everyday look. Long-lasting, pigmented and easy to apply.


L'Oreal Miracle Blur Instant Skin Smoother £24.99 & Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation £6.99 post here
What I've now christened my 'budget base duo' which I've been reaching for over high end counterparts. Flawless matt finish of the L'Oreal primer paired with a light coverage, glowing foundation, Revlon Nearly Naked ends up with complexion perfection.


Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, £33 post here
Honestly saddens me this is no longer going to be around as it adds the most gorgeously subtly glow to the skin. There are hardly any left online but if you see it in store - grab one!

Laura Mercier Fresh Fig Signature Candle, £29
I wouldn't have leant towards Laura Mercier for a candle but seeing as it was on sale at Space NK I couldn't resist - especially as I love the perfume version. A gorgeous sweet figgy scent that takes-over the room. Love!
