It's All About Cult Beauty...

If you're not familiar with Cult Beauty start loosening up those purse strings and get involved in one of the best beauty websites around. I recently had the opportunity to sit down with the girls involved behind the scenes, Alexia Inge & Jessica DeLuca, who are two girls just like you and me - totally obsessed with beauty and love discussing everything related. I raved about my late night spree's, got to grips with their latest additions and when I left up, I was up to my arms in swatches.

Apart from all their exciting products, there's one reason why I spend hours doing late night browsing and buying, because I know each item is tried, tested and handpicked. A website with an edited selection of beauty experts favourites and I know they have the girls approval.

Along with the usual favourites I rave about, Ren, Anastasia Beverly Hills (Brow Whiz I'm looking at you), Oskia Skincare and Esthederm Suncare, there are so many other exciting discoveries to be made. These are few of my top picks...

- Magic Mitt (£15.50), A makeup removing cloth with fibres which are so fine and gentle but still really manages to get that last scrap of makeup off. They claim you don't need to use this with cleanser but I'll just add this to a second cleanse to ensure there isn't a scrap of makeup left on my skin. Fantastic for sensitive or dry skin as it ensures you don't over exfoliate or irritate the skin.

- Fig + Yarrow Body Scrub Cardamon + Coffee (£31), One of the best body scrubs I've tried - gritty enough to use often but not over irritate the skin and leaves a luscious slight layer of oil on the skin that keeps skin hydrated. Plus the strong scent of coffee is absolutely delicious and really lifts my mood. Expensive but the pot is absolutely huge - I'm not even a third of the way through!

- Jade Eye Roller (£25) Luxurious roller that helps depuffing, cooling and soothing as well as a fantastic way to massage eye cream in.

- Faust's Awake & Asleep Potion (£5.99) Very exciting little shots of vitamins to help cure and prevent a hangover. Love having these in my bedside table!

- RMS Coconut Cream (£12.50) Only discovered this was a cleanser after using it on my very dry skin as a body moisturiser. A solid formula that melts into an oil when warmed up in my hands, applies to damp skin becomes an excellent overnight moisture boost.

- D.J.V Beautenizer (£18) Two much sought after cult mascaras. Personally prefer the Volume Lash as it just creates the most incredible volume at the root of the lash.

With every order you get to pick up three samples, and not just little sachets actual little pots of samples, which is how I tried the Oskia Micro Exfoliating Balm and MOA Green balm. Who doesn't like trying before you buy?

You can check out Cult Beauty here, and I recommend you do so!

PS - Not sponsored - I know, I really should work for them.

  10. I love Cult Beauty - and I'd love to read more of this! It think most customers would like to dive into the Cult Beauty stock, but I can make do with reading about you doing it :) The RMS Coconut Cream is ridiculous, though. It's not a cream 'formula', it is overpriced coconut oil. There is nothing else in it, and while I love my (organic, cold pressed) coconut oil, for makeup removal as well as a host of other things, I think the marketing of this one veers close to unethical.

  12. I've bought stuff from Cult Beauty as they are the only stockists of certain brands but have always had problems with customer service. I'm still waiting for response from emails since January. It's a shame because they are potentially my ideal shop. Thank god they have some competition now from other other online retailers.
