It's all very well spending a good half an hour or so on a smokey eye (trust me ladies, it can be done) but what about when we have five minutes to spare or are slapping something on in the back of a dimly lit taxi? My stash of saviours, let's christen them 'The Foolproof's', are the products that can be applied with fingers, toes, or even without a mirror (because lets face it the one in that blush palette isn't that great anyway).
For starters there's the base, Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion, which I originally raved about here. So light, weightless and blendable that can be applied in the most haphazard way and still look natural. I tend to slap it on like a moisturiser - pat and blend with fingertips.
For a hint of colour Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush is perfection. The incredibly light texture practically melts into the skin providing nothing too over the top, just the perfect amount of natural colour. The shade Cherub is what's gracing my cheeks below.
Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Mascara has the perfect brush that's not too fat and not too skinny getting the perfect combination of length and volume. Oh and... If you can apply your mascara without a mirror, I salute you.
Thanks to Birchbox UK my latest love, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Rose Tinted keeps lips hydrated, glossy and tinted. A quick coat and that's my face in five...
What are your foolproof beauty products?
I love the mascara packaging!!

Its gorgeous!
DeleteGreat post Amelia - the rushing around you described at the beginning is nearly my everyday routine. I always start with plenty of time to get ready and then find myself rushing! Love the sound of the Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion, I'm on the look out for a new lighter foundation so this bad boy may be one to try out.

Thank you!
DeleteGreat post! I think I will definitely have to try that blush out. Though I must admit, I'm scared of anything that isn't in powder form when it comes to blush!
