New In: Mac's Archie Girls Collection


Another day, another new Mac launch! Their latest comic book collaboration is perfectly timed for Valentines Day, Mac & Archie Girls Comics. Needless to say the little girl inside me squealed by the endless pinks, purple and peach hues all housed in adorable cartoon packaging.

Mac Archies Girls Pearlmatte Face Powder in Flatter Me
The collection is encompasses it all - from eyeliners to lipsticks and pigments with two main colour focuses based around the characters, Betty and Veronica. Betty being the more peachy pink shades and Veronica having the darker plum range.

The star of the show has got to be the PearlMatte Face Powder in Flatter Me, a golden peach blush embossed with coral hearts. Something you'd think would apply quite sheer but the hearts pick up well on the brush, giving an subtle flush of colour to the cheeks that's slightly highlighting. Overall the perfect Sunday morning 'pick-me-up' shade...

Will you be running to Mac counters when this launches on the 8th of February or giving it a miss?

PS - Anyone remember Mac Barbie? or Mac Hello Kitty? They won't be topping those two collection for a while, I'm still mourning the fact they were limited edition...

    Can't say I'm a big fan of the packaging, it looks a little cheap. But I do like the look of that powder!!

    Wow, these are TOO cute! Are you wearing the shadows from the palette in this picture? I always prefer the formula of MAC shadows to anything else, they are the only ones to last all day on me..

    I love the packaging, in the past I would have gone for the face powder over packaging along but I have been dissapointed SO much.....

    I don't think I'm a huge fan of the packaging - I like packaging to look classy and this reminds me of cheap pound shop products :-( The make-up itself has a lovely colour range especially the cheek colour, looks lovely on your skin tone.xx

    I love when Mac bring out collections but I really dislike the packaging of this - despite that, the eyeshadow palette is so pretty!!!

    I passed my order yesterday but most things were sold out :( I think I might have to ask my firend who lives in Quebec city to go to the counter for me when it goes in store. I got the Caraml Sundae pallette, Betty Oh oh oh lipstick, and Strawberry Malt lipglass.
