My Makeup: Snowy Smokey


As soon as I spotted the first snowflake falling I was running towards my frosty eyeshadows faster than you can say 'anyone up for building a snowman?'. None other than L'Oreal Infalliable Eyeshadows which I have sworn my allegiance to multiple times, but in a shade that had remained untouched, a light bluey-silver named Flashback Silver.


For my base I whipped a bit of another New York purchase, Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation onto my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and got blending - light dewy coverage and a buildable finish. Not being prepared for the potential makeup disaster that snow + foundation = blotchy face but surprisingly it survived throughout the snow. Impressed! Cheeks were dusted in Mac Harmony and Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface for some definition and it was onto the eyes.


My eyes were a frosty combination of Mac Ploof eyeshadow and L'Oreal Infalliable Eyeshadow in 015 Flashback Silver paired with lashings of mascara, Dior DiorShow Lash Primer (post here) to lengthen and DJV Lash Beautenizer Volume Lash to add volume. 


So there you have it, a lazy day snowy look. Now, where did I put those gloves...

    Your eyes look lovely and I like how this is much more of a subtle look compared to other smokey eyes!! I would also love to try out the Tarte blushes!!

    i love the cool toned eyeshadow thats perfect for a snowy day... and it does a nice contrast against your warm toned skin :) also love your furry head band.. how cute!
