High & Low: Hairspray

L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray £6.60 Boots & Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray £38 Space NK
My hairspray arsenal consists of two, L'Oreal Paris Elnett and Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. The former won't come as a shock to you, seen on the dressing tables of many. My mother, my grandmother and myself are amongst celebrities and hair stylists worldwide and rightly so! As far as hairsprays are concerned this is the one: a no fuss, brushable, buildable, flexible and (best of all), non-sticky hairspray that's totally foolproof. Their latest edition, Lumiere Infinite Shine, adds a touch of gloss and is in face the hairspray Chris Appleton used on me during our shoot for Elnett Heat Protect Styling Sprays here.
When it comes to achieving body, there's only one spray that tops them all. What Trish McEvoy told me was the secret to her hair staying perfectly voluminous for hours, Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. Think dry shampoo with a better smell and clear. Best of all, adds insane volume and texture that's practically backcombing in a can.

Oribe usually gets blasted through my roots, a little on the ends for some texture and ruffled by my hands followed by Elnett which gets sprayed all over for a boost of gloss and hold. Both of which are available in handy handbag sized cans and the full throttle big tins. Glossy voluminous locks? Oh yes please...
