They say there's a first time for everything and Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation is the first drugstore foundation that's received a big thumbs up from me, so much so I've been reaching for it over my stocks of higher end bases.
Texture feels almost alike to YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat - light, blendable and sinks into the skin as soon as it's applied. Now lets get a few things straight - you are going to get a light to medium coverage at best with this foundation, it evens out skin tone but doesn't add a world of coverage. Secondly it's no way near a matte formula - it adds a beautiful radiance to the skin while brightening the complexion and very natural looking. Light coverage and a natural finish? Yes please.
Buffed in with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush ensured optimum lasting power, around the seven hour mark a light dusting of powder is needed, which might be something to consider for oily skinned gals. I've been sporting the shade 130 Shell Coquillage which works perfectly with my yellow undertones and lighter Winter skin.
I picked mine up from Duane Reade in New York but Revlon Nearly Naked is launching in the UK on the 20th of February for £8.99
Is this an oil based foundation? I always find most drug store foundation are too oily for my skin. I'd like to try this one out though. I use Estee Lauder Double wear and need something a bit lighter for the summer. Have never been able to get the right shade in Colourstay though so hope thats not a problem

DeleteGood to know. Max Factor has discontinued Second Skin, which was my favourite, so this sounds like it might be a great substitute.
