My Makeup: Ibiza Face

Holiday packing is such a task as I'll always find myself wishing I brought that one blush and the four others I've brought along just won't do. This time I tried my absolute best to downsize, which didn't go too well, but I did end up using the same products on a daily basis, ones that I knew would survive the daily heat as well as give me some sun protection.

I spent the majority of the week in a bikini but I did manage to purchase this sun dress while I was out there which is from a designer called Juliana Cassandro and I absolutely love it! Definitely need to research into getting more bits from her but back onto the makeup... Due to my mahooosive sunglasses I like to hide behind, not much eye makeup went on. If it did, it was all creams, eyeshadows and pencils and some waterproof mascara. Here's what I've been applying daily for the past week in Ibiza...

Skin
Chantecaille Ultra Sun Protection SPF 50 PA+++ which I used as a primer as I didn't want to tan my face!
- Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser which adds a lovely glow, is amazing in the heat and has slightly more coverage than your average tinted moisturiser
- As a concealer I dabbed on some of Estee Lauder Stay In Place Doublewear Concealer as it's very high coverage yet doesn't budge in the heat
- To add some extra glow I either used Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone or Burberry Sheer Summer Glow (link to post here)

That was pretty much all I used on a daily basis and if I added eye makeup it was all these products here.

What are your favourite holiday products?

  2. I hope I'm not being too forward, but could you possibly consider doing a post about the best summer makeup that can stand against the heat? I need to find foundation that doesn't start melting on my face. Disgusting image, I know. Sorry.

  4. This sounds exactly like the right amount of holiday make up, something about a bit of sun that makes me shed my normal layers of product!
