First up are Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadows in 4 Sandy Gold and 16 Beach Bronze, these were a summer staple for me last year and are back for round two! Really creamy, waterproof and just so easy to slap on with my fingers. A lighter option which is less long lasting is the Becca Water-Resistant Colour For The Eyes in Baroque - it provides a small hint of colour but it's so fuss free that it could literally be applied with eyes closed!
If my eyes need some extra definition I've been quickly grabbing Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 2L running it along my lash line and blending with my fingers. When it's an evening event and there hasn't been time to redo my makeup I've been smoking it all up a bit using Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in 15.
Do you like cream eyeshadow products or do you shy away from them?
Ahh these all look fab! I'm a tiny bit disappointed by the bobbi Brown. I have two that are quite sheer and have no colour pay off really. The MUFE are amazingggg...love cream bases.
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I could be by the beach right now :(
Enjoy! X
Yeah the Bobbi Brown are a better texture and Mufe are more pigmented :) Thanks so much love! xx
DeleteI also love cream eyeshadows, been wearing Maybelline's Color Tattoos almost every day now ;) x
ReplyDeleteI have that sitting at home - haven't tried it out yet I really need to!!! x
DeleteI've never tried Bobbi Brown products, but I love Illamasquas cream eyeshadows so I'll definately try them out! x
ReplyDeleteOooh and I'll need to try out Illamasquas! xx
DeleteI love cream eye shadows, so much easier and quicker to use.

me too! Yay :) x
DeleteMy favourite would have to be the benefit creaseless eyeshadows. like you said so easy and really brighten up your eyes!
ReplyDeleteAh I haven't tried those but will add them to the list! Thanks hun :) x
DeleteI'm totally in love with cream eye shadows and blushes. They're perfect for summer when you don't have time for make up ( sometimes I'm using my fingers to apply them and it's work great ) For some reason I think that cream eye shadows and blushes look more natural and give glow that I love!

You're exactly right hun! So glad you think so too :) x
DeleteI don't feel like putting in the effort of several powder shadows. Some cream shadows reflect light and look great in less than a minute. Laura Mercier Alloy, Milani Shadow Eyez in Champagne Toast(really shocked at how good that is), Essence Stay All Day (dupes for MUFE), and Maybelline Color Tattoo. I always use the cheaper ones in the summer.
ReplyDeleteAh Rebecca thank you SO much for all those great recommendations! Really appreciate it :) Will have a lok at the shades online - can't wait! Thanks again :) x
DeleteI love using cream eyeshadows as a base, I'm in love with me Colour Tattoo and my Benefit creaseless cream eyeshadow :) They're both wortha try

DeleteI've got to say I love Benefit's creaseless cream eyeshadow in birthday suit. Does what it says and really brightens lots of eye colours!
ReplyDeleteAh that's an amazing shade! I've added it to my shopping list thanks so much for letting me know hun :) x
DeleteThe texture of the cream shadows and even blushes feel so lush on the skin and definitely finger appropriate when applying. I love the brand Becca would love to try this. xx
