Love Of The Month: April

A couple of haircare, body care and makeup bits this month! They are... (from left to right)

Fekkai Brilliant Advanced Glossing Cream - The perfect hair cream for everything - pre-blowdry, post-blowdry and the best on second day old hair to give it some lovely shine. How I use it *here*

Ojon Volume Advanced Volumising Styling Spray - As much as I love my Oribe Dry Texturising Spray *link* to post, I like to save it for special occasions and not use it on an everyday basis. That's when Ojon Volume Advanced comes in, basically does the same thing - provides tons of volume in the roots instantly with a couple of sprays. Perfect time-saver!

Schwarzkopf Bonacure Hairtherapy Oil Miracle Finishing Treatment - My holy grail hair oil Kerastase Elixir Ultime seems to have disappeared so in the mean time I've been searching for alternatives & loving this oil. Much lighter in scent and texture and perfect for post blow-dry hair softness.

Givenchy Eclat Mattisme - Being a foundation junkie and this month I've been experimenting with Givenchy's latest release, Eclat Mattisme. Don't be fooled by the word matt! It's actually not a matt finish, more of a subtle glow. Loving how lightweight this is on the skin and how easily buildable it is! Stay tuned for more...

Givenchy Poudre Croisere Healthy Glow Powder - Another little new Givenchy release, not being a fan of shimmery bronzer I think it's safe to say this has now made me convert! I love how easy it is to just plonk on the cheeks and walk out the door - can't wait to use this in summer! Full review *here*

L'Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil - Four words - heaven in a bottle! Definetly my favourite body oil especially the scent. Applied before bed and in the morning my skin feels heavenly. You can read my full post about it *here*

Ysl Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stains - The most interesting textured lipgloss I've ever tried! Been loving wearing this for long evenings as I don't need to reapply any lippy...it lasts a good couple of hours! Full review *here*

Natural Collection Eyeshadow in Milk Chocolate - a perfect eyeshadow blending colour, think Naked palette Buck but a bit lighter. Love the pocket friendly price tag too        :)

Maybelline Dream Touch Mousse in 02 Peach - I've really been getting into cream blusher this month, purely because it looks so much more natural as opposed to powder and this one is at the top of my list! Love the peachy colour and the blendability. You can read the full review *here*

Trish McEvoy Fan Brush - Picked up a couple of fan brushes recently but this has got to be my favourite, blusher, highlighter, bronzer, powder - it does it all! The perfect handbag friendly size too.

Dior Addict Extreme in Incognito - My favourite nude colour, it's definitely a sophisticated nude colour as opposed to a baby pink/peach nude. It's really moisturising too!

  1. I have recently discovered Ojon. It doesn't do much for my hair but I do find I get a little more volume at the roots. And the smell is divine. Yum xx

    1. Hey Louise, Yeah doesn't do anything revolutionary in terms of shine etc but for getting volume it's been fab! xx

  3. Totally agree with the L'Occitane. Its pure heaven and smells devine. I am looking to get the shower oil to compliment it too. I have heard a lot about Ojon and am desperate to try their volume range but the price scares me a tad for something I would use everyday. I might have to get it and reserve for special occasions ha
